information when you visit mercuryglassandmirror.com, contact us, request a quote,
or otherwise engage with our services in South Florida.
This Policy is written for a U.S. audience and includes disclosures for California and
other state privacy laws. If you are located in the EU/UK, see GDPR section below.

IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit
pages, timestamps, approximate location (based on IP), and interactions with our
emails and ads. Collected via cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (e.g.,

User content & communications
Information you send us in forms, email, phone, SMS or chat (including call-back
requests and voicemail metadata).
Job applicant information (if applicable)
Resume/CV details, work history, and eligibility information.

We collect information directly from you, automatically via the Site, and from service
providers that support our website, analytics, communications, scheduling, and
advertising.
2) Why we use your information
We use personal information to:
● Respond to inquiries and provide quotes, on-site measurement, fabrication,
delivery, and installation services.
● Send transactional communications (e.g., appointment reminders, invoices,
project updates).
● Send marketing emails/SMS only with your consent (opt‐in) and honor your
opt‐out choices.
● Improve our Site, services, and customer experience; debug, analyze, and
secure our systems.
● Run and measure advertising, including retargeting and ad frequency capping.
● Protect our rights and comply with laws, court orders, and regulatory
requests.

We do not collect or process sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs,
precise geolocation, health data) for purposes that require a “Limit the Use of
Sensitive PI” link.
3) Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site,
remember preferences, measure performance, and show relevant ads (including on
other sites/apps). You can manage cookies in your browser. Advertising partners
may infer your interests from Site activity.
Opt-outs & controls:
● Email: use the Unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

● SMS: reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help (message/data rates may
apply).
● Interest‐based ads (browser): visit the NAI opt‐out
(networkadvertising.org/choices) and DAA opt‐out (optout.aboutads.info).
● Global Privacy Control (GPC)/Universal Opt‐Out signals: where required by
law, we treat GPC/recognized browser signals as a request to opt out of
“sale”/“sharing” (see Section 6).

4) How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to:
● Service providers/contractors (website hosting, cloud storage, analytics,
payment processors, email/SMS platforms, advertising platforms,
field‐service/scheduling tools, installation subcontractors) under contractual
confidentiality and use restrictions.
● Business transfers (e.g., merger, acquisition).
● Legal and safety (to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights,
property, and safety).

We do not allow third parties to use customer information for their own marketing
unless you separately consent.
5) Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes
above, including to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with
legal/financial obligations, and enforce agreements. Typical retention for marketing
contact data is up to 3 years from your last interaction, unless you request deletion
sooner.
6) Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

● Access the personal information we maintain about you.
● Correct inaccurate information.
● Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
● Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross‐context
behavioral advertising (we do not sell data for money; some advertising uses
may be considered a legal “sale”/“sharing” in certain states).
● Opt out of targeted advertising and certain profiling.
● Portability (receive a copy in a portable format).

How to submit a request: email us at mercuryglassandmirror@gmail.com with the
subject “Privacy Request,” or mail a request to the address in Section 11. We may
need to verify your identity (and an agent’s authority) before fulfilling requests. You
will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
California residents: we provide this Policy as a Notice at Collection. We do not
knowingly sell or share personal information of minors under 16. To exercise your
California rights, contact us as above. Where applicable, we honor Global Privacy
Control signals as an opt‐out of “sale”/“sharing.”
Colorado/Connecticut/Virginia/Utah residents: similar rights may apply in your state,
including opt‐out of targeted advertising. Contact us to exercise them.
6A) Sensitive Personal Information
We do not seek to collect or process Sensitive Personal Information (as defined in
laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws), including:
government identifiers (e.g., SSN, driver’s license), precise geolocation, financial
account credentials, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership,
contents of mail/email/texts, genetic data, or biometric identifiers used for
identification. We also do not knowingly collect data about children.
Because we do not collect Sensitive Personal Information for purposes that would
require it, our Site does not require a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal
Information” opt‐out link. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and
provide any required links.

6B) Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR)
If you are a Florida resident, you may request that we access, correct, or delete your
personal information, and you may opt out of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) sale or
sharing of personal information, and (iii) certain profiling for decisions that produce
legal or similarly significant effects. Submit requests using the methods in Section 6
above. Where applicable, we honor Global Privacy Control and other recognized
browser signals as an opt‐out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising.
While the FDBR applies to certain businesses, we voluntarily honor these rights
requests to the extent we are able and required by law.
7) Email and SMS marketing
We send marketing communications only if you opt in (e.g., by checking a consent
box). You can opt out at any time:
● Email: click Unsubscribe in our emails.
● SMS: reply STOP to cancel; HELP for help. Message/data rates may apply. We
do not share SMS consent or mobile numbers with third parties for their own
marketing.
Transactional/service messages may still be sent (e.g., scheduling, project updates).
8) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards
designed to protect personal information (e.g., encryption in transit, access
controls). No system is 100% secure.
9) Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
personal information, contact us to delete it.
10) International visitors (GDPR/UK GDPR)
If you are in the EU/UK, Mercury Glass & Mirror is the data controller for Site
interactions. Our legal bases may include consent, contract, legal obligation, and
legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement and security). You may have rights to

access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, and to lodge a complaint
with your local authority. We may transfer data to the U.S. and safeguard such
transfers using appropriate measures (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses). Contact
us to exercise EU/UK rights.
